Milton is fairly good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines, Highway 407 or Highway 403. In addition, daycares are not particularly abundant and therefore tend to require an extended walk to get to. With respect to education, it can be difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from homes for sale in Milton. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity. ![]() ![]() Some, but not all, property owners in Milton will reside within walking distance of one of around 20 grocery stores. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in this town as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for home buyers in Milton as very few common errands can be run without the use of a car. There are about 10 bus lines traversing the town. Thankfully, there is the Milton Station on the Milton Line. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is very difficult in this part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. Driving is a very good means of transportation in this town. ![]()
